Guitar Repair Workshop

Bring your fretted instrument (guitar, ukulele, bass, etc) for help restringing, minor repairs, and appraisal.

Have you acquired a guitar of uncertain provenance? Do you wish to know if that guitar is "any good" or a "total wreck"? Bring it over!

Has your guitar developed mysterious buzzing sounds? Is it difficult to play? Do the strings look like they could give you tetanus?

Bring it in and we'll have a look together. In my decades of teaching and playing guitar I've seen it all. We can accomplish many simple repairs together. You'll learn some basics of instrument repair and maintenance, and get your guitar back in good shape.
