Brunch & Discuss 20-Minute Sci-Fi Film "Aunukul"
Details
Join us for brunch at Depth N Green, Kendall Square, and discuss the 20-minute film "Anukul," about AI. The film, based on a short story by internationally acclaimed writer-director Satyajit Ray (1921-1992), is more relevant than ever today, and available on YouTube in Hindi-Urdu, with English subtitles. Directed by Sujoy Gosh, and starring Parambrata Chatterjee and Saurabh Shukla.
Depth N Green offers healthy South Asian food, with a largely organic menu, and no seed oils! It's tasty and fresh! Best bets for parking are to grab a space right in front of the restaurant, at 7 Broad Canal Way, Cambridge 02142, or if nothing's available, there are always metered openings around the corner near the river on Main Street, headed into Cambridge (which is only accessible via Memorial Drive headed toward Cambridge). Or take the T to Kendall Square/MIT.
This Meetup will be conducted in Hindi, Urdu, Urdu-Hindi, Hinglish, and Urdlish. If you can have a basic literature discussion in any of those languages, without resorting to pure English (and with a little help as necessary), feel free to attend.
