Ready, Set, Launch - Knowing When You’re Ready and How to Start a Company
IEEE BOSTON ENTREPRENEURS’ NETWORK – 7:00PM to 10:00PM, Tuesday, September 3, 2013
What happens before you begin your pursuit of entrepreneurial greatness? A key decision is needed before you decide that you will go all-in on your next big project. Are you the right person to start a company? Our speakers will go over what it takes to start a business. They will speak on the most crucial initial steps in taking the leap of faith into the entrepreneurial world. They will also discuss what it takes to start a company -- building a team, building a culture, identifying the 'right' market/channel, raising capital.
Our first meeting of the ENET year will be conducted in a conventional panel format. Each speaker will be presenting his or her “own take” for 15 minutes. Our panel consists of four presenters, who all have extensive entrepreneurial experience. They will go over the most important factors to consider as you move toward creating a business. Robert Adelson, Boston attorney for startup companies and chairman of ENET, will be moderator.
Starting with this meeting, our Waltham meetings will be held in a new location: Constant Contact, Inc., 1601 Trapelo Rd., 3RD Floor, The Great Room, Waltham, MA (Exit 28/28B, I-95/Route 128) with a pre-meeting dinner at 5:15 PM (sharp) at Bertucci’s, Winter St., Waltham.
