Wayland to Fresh Pond - out and back Bike Ride - mostly paved bike trail

Details
Good Morning Everyone.
This is a bike ride that I am co-hosting with my friend Shawn, over at the Mixed Terrain Bicycle Adventures Meetup Group. He has put together a great Urban Adventure bike ride for us.
Be sure to bring a rain jacket just in case....
Come join us for some bike riding delight. This ride accommodates many different skill levels, and is set up so you can ride just parts, or the entire ride. The entire distance is roughly 30 miles, but we could incorporate some single track riding adjacent to the Central Mass Rail Trail toward the end of the ride in Weston/Wayland. In fact, we could incorporate side/single track trails anywhere along the way, depending on who's in the group and how we're feeling. See the below link to the route in Alltrails, named "Wayland to Fresh Pond via the Central Mass Rail Trail, Waltham, the Charles River Trail, and the Watertown - Cambridge Greenway". As the name says, we will go straight through Waltham on Rt. 117 to connect with the Charles River Trail. To start, we'll gather at the Stop and Shop in Wayland at 10:00 AM. Anyone can join the ride there, and turn around at the end of the Central Mass Rail Trail in Weston to complete about an 8 mile out and back ride. We will also be stopping at the small amphitheater at Arsenal Park in Watertown between 11:20 and 11:40. Other folks can join for the ride up to Fresh Pond via the Watertown - Cambridge Greenway. Then the plan would be to eat lunch somewhere near Fresh Pond around mid day. Then, back down through Arsenal Park, before heading the same way back to Wayland. Hybrid mikes are recommended, but mountain bikes and road bikes could certainly work, depending on the rider.
