Bilingual Program Coordinator (Japanese/English)

compensation: $18.00/Hour ~DOE

Since our incorporation, our mission has been to promote global education for young people through a wide variety of English courses, home stay programs, exchange programs, study-abroad programs, and sister-school relationships.

 

We are currently seeking Japanese bilingual Program Coordinator in our Boston office (1 Broadway, Cambridge MA).

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinating short term and long term educational programs
  • Creating quotation and itinerary of programs
  • Booking classrooms and dorm rooms
  • Attending programs including airport pick up, airport drop off, and filed trip
  • Coordinating an orientation for program participants
  • Finding Japanese college students or alumni who can support GPI programs
  • Overseeing instructors during programs
  • Dealing with students and escorts in regard to academic and nonacademic matters
  • Communicate and work with host families
  • Be on call during the program to handle any emergency situations
  • Developing business relationships with high schools, colleges, and universities
  • Creating and modifying ESL and Leadership curriculums
  • Finding qualifying host families

 

Job Requirements:

Bilingual in English (Business Level) and Japanese (Business Level), must be able to read and write in both languages

Must have valid work authorization (OPT, H1B transfer OK)

Driver's license (must have your own car)

Work under pressure

Highly organized and flexible, detail oriented

Proficient in Microsoft office word, excel

Excellent Multi-tasking skill

Excellent Interpersonal skill
