Westport Rivers Winery, Wine Tasting & Picnic Social

Westport Rivers Vineyard is in Westport MA, the southern tip of MA bordering RI. The vineyard specializes in white wines and traditional champagne-style sparkling wines using method champenoise.

The plan is to meet there at 11:00 AM, do a wine-tasting and then have lunch/picnic on the grounds. There are food trucks on Saturdays so we could buy our lunch, buy some bottles of wine and hang out. I will find out if we are allowed to bring our own food as well. The trip takes about an hour and 15 mins to an hour and a half driving from Boston, depending on traffic. So plan on hitting the road by 9:30 AM. I would highly recommend car-pooling and we can coordinate that on this event’s chat page.

We have an SUV and we can comfortably accommodate 2 additional passengers. I believe the tasting fee is $20 per person, but I will confirm the exact amount later on.
