What we’re about

We are a group of movie fans that get together frequently to watch movies in the Boston area. We see lots of different kinds of movies.

It is our custom to go out to a nearby restaurant afterwards for some munchies and conversation. Although on the rare instances when we have a movie event in the middle of the week...we might skip the after event because of the whole getting up early the next day thing.

The group's organizers do have a favor to ask - if you RSVP "yes" to an event, please do come, or change your RSVP to "no".

Hey, this looks like it could be fun. It's great to see Brandon Fraser back to getting some regular starring roles, and he always was a talented comic actor. This is the weekend before Thanksgiving, so if you're in town, come out with us!

Synopsis from IMDB: An American actor in Tokyo struggling to find purpose lands an unusual gig: working for a Japanese "rental family" agency, playing stand-in roles for strangers. He rediscovers purpose, belonging, and the beauty of human connection.

Yes, this movie will be streaming on Netflix a week after the release in theaters, and probably the only reason why Netflix is releasing to theaters is to make a play for Academy Awards. But! I really like the Knives Out movies. They are solid, good writing, and Netflix spends the money for the cast. Daniel Craig does a great job! The movies have a wide appeal - they are perfect to watch with my 95 year old mother-in-law, for example.

If you haven't seen the previous two films, I highly recommend giving them a watch if you find yourself scrolling through the endless content of Netflix and still unable to find anything. 😀
