I'm running this Meetup event for a few reasons:
(1) to spread the word so that as many people here will sign up for these courses as possible, and
(2) to build a core here in Greater Boston for these classes. When you take a class, you'll be assigned to a peer group with people all around the world. But I want to have another "peer group" of locals, so that when the course is ongoing and later over, we'll still have each other locally, in case we want to get together in the real world (at some point) to talk, write, or make music.
