What we’re about
Welcome astrology enthusiasts and practicing astrologers! If you love astrology, you found your home. We are an inclusive community of astrologers, open to people of all levels, from beginners to professionals. We are supported by the Boston Chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), an international astrological organization.
Our purpose is to host educational events, through which we build community. A range of offerings will be listed in Meetup:
-Forum discussions: typically hosted in July and/or August, and are free to all to attend.
-Speaker Series lectures: offered September through May or June (currently online at least through January 2022). These are free to NCGR Boston Chapter members. All others pay $20 per webinar and must register to attend at: https://www.ncgrbostonastrology.org/speaker-series
-The New England Astrology Conference (NEAC), to be held February 12-13, 2022. The Meetup group will be notified when registration opens. There is discounted pricing for NCGR Boston Chapter members.

Join the NCGR Boston Chapter for an online presentation, New Stars for a New Era and the Soul Consciousness of Sedna, with professional astrologer Alan Clay.
Many astrologers believe that new planets are discovered when we are ready to incorporate the new consciousness represented by that planet into our existing consciousness. With the discovery of 10 new planets this century, we’re entering a period of rapid consciousness development, and this is enabling a whole new understanding of who and where we are.
This talk is based on Alan’s new book, New Stars for a New Era: A Consciousness Workbook for our 10 New Planets. It will give an overview of the aspects of consciousness represented by each of our ten new planets and then go into more detail on Sedna - the soul’s path of destiny - our new goddess of soul consciousness. We will look at house interpretations with examples of famous people to bring them to life.

The talk has grown out of research at the Dwarf Planet University where we see, by simply making these new aspects conscious, students become empowered and their lives are transformed. We need to engage with these new consciousness energies to take them out of the unconscious area of action. To enable this, the book includes consciousness exercises for each planet, so we can on-board their energy in our lives. As we do, we will become empowered, and our lives will be transformed.
Bio: Alan Clay is a New Zealand writer & astrologer. He is the NCGR International Delegate for New Zealand and one of the most popular speakers in their International Talks program. Reviewers are calling his book, New Stars for a New Era: A Consciousness Workbook for our 10 New Planets, “groundbreaking" & "highly recommended”. In 2020 he founded the Dwarf Planet University, where he teaches online classes helping students understand these new planets in their personal charts. www.dwarfplanet.university
