About us

Welcome astrology enthusiasts and practicing astrologers! If you love astrology, you have found your home. We are an inclusive community of astrologers, open to people of all levels, from beginners to professionals.

This meetup is hosted by the Boston Chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), an international astrological organization. The purpose is to offer educational events, through which we build community.

Our primary educational offering is the Speaker Series online lectures. These are typically offered September through May. The lectures are free to NCGR members with Boston Chapter affiliation (dues are $70/year). Click here to learn more about membership. All others pay $20 per webinar and must register to attend.

Also, once per year, the Boston Chapter hosts an in-person/hybrid event at the Beech Street Center, Belmont, MA.

Please message me with any questions. We look forward to seeing you!

Join the NCGR Boston Chapter for an online presentation, Eclipses: Rinse, Repeat and Rinse Again!, with professional astrologer Georgia Stathis.

2026’s eclipses, like all eclipses, return every 18.6 to 19 years as they follow the transiting Lunar Nodes. Some years, the eclipses shift things around, bringing things to light that were not finished in the 18.6 year cycle before. Sometimes, though, the eclipses are traveling with challenging outer planets lingering at the bendings or conjunctions pushing more change than usual. Uranus and the Nodes and the Eclipse begin to shake things up as early as February 2026 and we may not see their direct results until closer to the end of 2026. Whichever way the cycle takes us, by the end of the year, as the North Node enters Aquarius in late July, catalysts of change emerge from the least expected places.

Bio: A first-generation Greek-American whose cultural roots are in myth, story, and trade, Georgia Stathis is a USA based astrologer and popular international lecturer who received a BS degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and an MBA degree from Pepperdine University in California. She started her practice in 1977 and is a regular contributor to the astrological community through books, articles, lectures and a variety of learning materials, including the annual Starcycles Calendar.
Georgia teaches internationally and her articles are frequently featured in such publications as The Traders’ Astrological Almanac, published by Linda Long (available by writing pas24@aug.com).
