### Automate GitHub actions -- safely and securely
Abstract:
Working in public on GitHub is common. It's a great way to get others involved in your project. GitHub actions are a great way to automate validations on submissions to your open source repos. They run builds, tests, even custom tasks. With that power comes some risk. Those automated tasks run code submitted in those PRs.
In this talk, you'll learn how to think about the risks, what kinds of dangers are possible, and how to protect your repositories.
