Taste of Somerville and Post-munch Walk on Community Path
Details
50+ food and beverage vendors means we're probably going to have to walk off some of those calories, which is why I hope you'll join me at this year's Taste of Somerville.
The plan is to meet around 5:30 (event starts at 5:00, but that extra 30 minutes should give folks time), and then we can either go as one big group or split into smaller ones to try out food and drinks.
Then, we can take the community path back to our respective homes later that evening. I live north, so I have a 3-mile journey back, but the community path also heads back into Boston. Again, we can split into groups if needed!
I'll keep folks updated here on the comment wall.
We also have access to $10 off tickets, so see that info below, but make sure to book your ticket here: https://tasteofsomerville.org/
Promo language from the event:
This year’s event will feature more than 50 food and beverage vendors from Somerville and beyond, along with live music, performances, a local artisan market, and lawn games for all ages.
Now in its 27th year, the Taste of Somerville has raised over $1 million for local nonprofits and is one of our community’s most beloved events celebrating the best of Somerville’s diverse food scene.
This year, we’re proud to partner with the Somerville Homeless Coalition as our beneficiary.
Local vendors include favorites such as: Aeronaut Brewing, Ball Square Fine Wines, Beacon Street Pizza, Café Saint-Germain, Carolicious, Cocolee, EBI Sushi, El Sonorense, Elm Street Taproom, Five Horses Tavern, Foundry On Elm, Fuji at Assembly, Fuki Japanese Cuisine, Himalayan Kitchen, Ice Tropez, Jamie’s Ice Cream, Josephine, Life Alive Organic Café, LollAcai, Lone Star Taco Bar, Los Amigos Taqueria, Mamaleh’s Delicatessen, Mimi’s Chūka Diner, Oliveira’s Steak House, Portico Brewing, Premiere On Broadway, Puritan & Company, Redbones Barbecue, Saloon, Satellite - Remnant Brewing, Shake Shack, Shanky’s Whip, Smoke Shop BBQ, Somerville Chocolates, Tasty MoMo, The Blue Elephant, The Burren, The Independent, The Neighborhood Restaurant & Bakery, Tony C’s Sports Bar & Grill, Vera’s, When Pigs Fly, Wild Child Chocolate, and Winter Hill Brewing Company.
With all the rain this spring, we are slightly behind where we’d like to be in ticket sales, and we’re asking for your help to sell out the event—for the benefit of our local vendors and nonprofits.
