Let's do 2 easyish hikes in Crawford Notch

Details

Let's do two easy-ish hikes with incredible views in Crawford Notch!

/*** What will we be doing? ***/
IMPORTANT: Even in Mid-April, it is possible that there will be substantial amounts of ice/snow on the trail. Be sure to bring spikes and be prepared for cold weather.

We will start by hiking up Mt Willard (3.1 mi; 895 ft), which is one of the top 10 hikes in NH according to AllTrails.
This is the route for Mt Wilard.

Once we come back down from Mt Willard, we will do a short drive and we will hike up to Arethusa Falls (2.8 mi; 885 ft), encountering several small waterfalls on our way there.
This is the route for Arethusa Falls.

Given that we will spend most of the day on the trails, you should bring a good amount of food with you.
Depending on the group's mood, we might go for a drink/bite after the hikes.

If you only want to do the first hike, please indicate so in the comments or let the organizer know during the hike.

/*** How to get there? ***/
Coming from Boston, the best way to get there is to take I-93 and then swing right on Rt 3 or 302. Parking seems to be scarce.
Carpooling is highly encouraged.

/** What to bring? **/
At least 3 L of water
Hiking boots (There are some loose rocks and boots are preferred over sneakers)
Microspikes or similar winter traction gear
Multiple layers in case of cold weather.
Sunscreen
Lots of snacks

/*** Additional notes ***/
- Socializing is an important part of this group. We hike as a group; nobody gets left behind.
- Make sure that you are familiar with the plan before signing up, and remember that you are responsible for your own safety.
- If you want to speedrun it or don't feel comfortable with the route, this might not be the best group.
