Practical Magic Creatives: A Spiritual, Artsy Group

This September will be a full moon in Pisces and a lunar eclipse, calling us to go inward and explore our inner world and dreams as the fall season soon approaches. Pisces is a sign associated with dreams and the inner realms of our mind.

Join us on Zoom for a group discussion about dreams, how to improve sleep and use your subconscious mind to manifest the things you want, an optional group dream analysis, and a dream mandala/sigil activity.

If you'd like to participate in the dream analysis, please write down any dreams you feel comfortable sharing with the group. We'll also sketch some dream mandalas/sigils to help bring us tranquility and restorative sleep. If you'd like to participate in the sketching activity, please bring some paper to sketch on, something to draw with (ideally with the color blue or purple), and scissors to make a cutout of your mandala/sigil.

This will be our first Meet & Greet so we can all learn more about each other and what interests we share, all are welcome! Caffe Nero has a wide selection of coffee, tea, drinks, and food so feel free to order whatever you'd like.

This October will be a full moon in Aries, calling us to think about the changes we’d like to make in our lives if we had the boldness, courage, and strength to do anything. Aries invites us to gain strength and courage to create new changes in our lives.

Join us on Zoom for a group discussion over tea about what each of us would like to change in our lives as we invite courage and strength. Please plan to bring a cup of tea to brew during our Zoom. Some tea ideas tied to the sign of Aries are cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, or my favorite, chai tea!

We’ll also do a group meditation where we will imagine ourselves taking action, creating the changes we want in our lives, and imagining/feeling what it would be like after making change.

This November will be a full moon in Taurus and a supermoon (appearing larger in the sky), calling us to think about what brings us happiness, safety, and security.

Join us on Zoom for a group discussion about what brings us joy, makes us feel rooted and secure in our community, and what are our favorite forms of self-care. We will learn strategies to bring more happiness, joy, and feelings of security and rootedness in our lives.

We’ll also do a group meditation to create a place in our minds we can always turn to to feel happy, safe, and secure. And an optional sketching activity where we'll sketch anything in nature that inspires us. Some ideas are a still life of your houseplant, or a photo of a plant or naturescape online.

Since Taurus is all about our favorite comforts, feel free to also bring anything that brings you joy/comfort to share with the group. Some ideas are a favorite dessert or food, favorite tea, candle, incense, or anything else you'd like to share with the group that brings you joy and comfort.
