Psychedelic Medicine: Experiences, Questions, Hopes and Fears

Details
Join the Boston Psychedelic Science & Consciousness Meetup, led by Dr. Joseph La Torre—research psychologist and lecturer specializing in psychedelic experiences—for an evening that blends cutting-edge science with lived experience, dialogue, and community.
Dr. La Torre’s work spans psychedelic phenomenology, psychosis and psychedelic therapy, and the comparative study of synthetic and organic psychedelics. He teaches graduate-level courses on psychedelic science, facilitation, and integration, and weaves together rigorous research with the deeper questions around what psychedelics can do for humanity.
At this first meeting we will step into the frontier of psychedelic and consciousness studies—where empirical research meets cross-cultural wisdom and contemplative traditions.
Whether you’re a researcher, a practitioner, or simply curious about the mind, you’ll find this meetup a space to learn, connect, and be inspired by the expanding landscape of psychedelic science and spirituality.
WE WILL MEET BY THE DOG PARK (KINGSLEY PARK) BEHIND THE CAMBRIDGE WATER DEPARTMENT AT FRESH POND, CAMBRDIGE. THERE IS A LARGE FIELD NEXT TO THE DOG PARK (KINGSLEY PARK) WHERE YOU WILL SEE US GATHERED.
