What we’re about

We will meet at near west end of Boston Public Garden at Japanese Lantern at 6:15 am every morning, starting Friday, October 1st, to practice mindfulness together. If you're new to meditation, come 10-15 minutes early so I can give you some suggestions. Bring a chair, cushion, or something to sit on so you can be relatively stable for 20-45 minutes. You are welcome to do your own form of meditation & you're welcome to leave when you want. This group is the motivation for me and others to get up early & meditate outside. After 30 years of indoor practice, I began meditating outdoors a few months ago & love it! I will guide the first 5 minutes of each sitting and then we'll be with the sounds, smells, sensations, tastes of the outdoors.
