About MFA First Fridays:
Looking to relax and have fun at the end of a long week? Unwind with MFA First Fridays, an exciting evening of music, dancing, art making, and more on the first Friday of select months. See art, meet new people, purchase cocktails and delicious bites, and let your hair down as you welcome the weekend at the MFA.
Tickets include general admission to the MFA and are free for members. First Fridays sell out fast, so plan ahead and purchase tickets in advance. Limited time slots are available for art making. Reserve free timed art-making tickets at the event on a first-come, first served-basis.
In partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, celebrate the exhibition “Martin Puryear: Nexus” with a special poetry performance by City of Boston Poet Laureate Emmanuel Oppong-Yeboah, art making, and music by our resident DJ, Slick Vick.
