BNT Software Dev Virtual Roundtable
Details
Boston New Technology invites software engineers, developers, and builders from across the ecosystem to join us for an open, collaborative Roundtable Discussion on Thursday, October 30th, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM EST.
This 60-minute virtual session is designed to be an ask + answer forum — an informal yet focused space where practitioners, tinkerers, and technologists can bring real challenges to the table, share insights, and collectively advance our craft.
Hosted by Steve Vilkas, Director of Boston New Technology and COO of Prepare 4 VC, alongside Shweta Agrawal, CPO of Boston New Technology, Lead Organizer of Techstars Startup Weekend Boston, and creator of She Builds Startup Weekends, the roundtable will explore both the technical and human dimensions of software development today:
- Emerging trends and frameworks transforming software design and deployment.
- Practical debugging, architecture, and collaboration lessons from the field.
- How AI and automation are reshaping the developer workflow.
- Navigating the balance between speed, quality, and maintainability in an evolving tech landscape.
Unlike a traditional panel or webinar, this is a community conversation — not a broadcast. Attendees are encouraged to come with questions, ideas, and experiences to share. Whether you’re an early-career engineer, a startup CTO, or an indie developer exploring the next frontier of human–machine collaboration, this roundtable is your chance to engage with peers who are building, shipping, and learning in real time.
Join us for an hour of discovery, dialogue, and connection — and help shape the future of Boston’s developer ecosystem from wherever you are.
Participation is free but RSVP is required to receive the event link and discussion prompts.
