VR Motion Labs, Saturday Demo Day, Q1 2019

Details
Stop by on Saturday, March 30th at 10am for our 2019 Q1 Saturday Demo Day to see and experience our latest 3DOF racing simulator, the Model M1.
The M1 is our first production unit that includes a completely new and redesigned heavy duty steel chassis to accommodate a high end direct drive wheel and shifter with no frame flex. This is the most heavy duty frame available for a 3DOF racing simulator and it delivers a stunning and realistic race experience. We'll be running this rig with the new HTC Vive Pro headset.
We'll also be running the static simulator with the Oculus Rift to make sure everyone gets a decent amount of simulator time.
VR has definitely changed the face of racing simulation by putting you into a high performance race car in a 3D environment that realistically reacts to your movement. When we add a motion platform that is properly tuned to the VR headset graphics, the level of immersion or presence is very real.
You are there, at the track, in the car and in the race. You’ll feel the car. You’ll feel the steering. The car and tire physics are spot on. The tracks are laser scanned so you’ll feel the surface imperfections. If you lose traction, you’ll feel the backend break loose.
This is an outstanding way to experience race tracks from all over the world and to learn how to drive a high performance race car.
Attendance is limited to 20 for this event to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to experience one of the simulators.
Driver weight and height restrictions apply. Max weight: 225 lbs, max height: 6' 6".
You must bring clean driving shoes or wear clean socks! No street shoes are allowed when racing in any of our simulators.
Soft drinks (Diet Coke, Diet Root Beer, Gatorade) and water will be available. Pizza will be served around noon.
This event is held on a quarterly basis so if it fills up, check back next quarter.
If you want to make a reservation for a private 1 hour session in one of our simulators, see https://www.vrmotionlabs.com for further information.
