JP Coop Crawl (walk thru 3 houses & see this innovative form of home ownership)

Let's check out a new style of living with Boston Collective Housing Meetup, visit some nice people in their homes and get in about 3 miles walking.

(Collective Housing is like roommates but the roommates own shares in a corporation that owns the property. They are self-governed, share maintenance and their lives.)

5:30p: Option to meet for dinner at the Dogwood Cafe directly across the street from the Washington St side of Forest Hills T stop. This is a pretty Irish Pub.

8:00pm: Chilcottage Coop, near StonyBrook Orange Line

Three coops in Jamaica Plain have coordinated a coop crawl!

If you know what a bar crawl is, this is similar, except with coops instead of bars. And since themes are nice and the Farmers Almanac says there will be snow by the 10th it will be Snow themed!

All are welcome to participate!

Coop enthusiasts gather at the first coop. Running late? Go to Chilcottage. You can call or text the coop coordinator Myla at 508-341-4919 for the address and our exact location.

Each house will give a tour and have refreshments (snow themed snacks and beverages). Then at the appropriate time we will depart for the next house. That is it! I heard a rumor that snow angels and friendly snow fights may occur...
