Presentation 1: Building WordPress sites with DIVI

Come learn about the friendliest and most intuitive website builder I've come across: DIVI. In this session I will review how you can easily use many of its features, including default fonts, color palette, and layout settings to create a WordPress site. There are even Woocommerce modules! Set up cool features like animations, sticky menus, accordion panels, using dynamic featured images, slide shows, borders and more!

Bio: Roger Weiss
I started out as a math teacher, then segued into computer programming. For the past 25 years I have been a website developer. Starting out coding in HTML, I now specialize in Wordpress sites.

I have been using the DIVI theme for at least 5-10 years, and have found its features to be pretty impressive. You can find my site at Bostonwebco.com

Whether you need help with a specific WordPress issue, want to contribute your knowledge to help others, or just want to listen & learn, this WordPress Help Desk is for you! Bring your laptop and WordPress challenges. Though the two-hour time limit means we may not solve every issue, we will try!

Come prepared with your website loaded, WordPress admin access ready, sites backed up, and a staging environment when possible. Since volunteers helping may not be experts, there's risk of breaking your site - please don't bring client or business sites that could impact revenue or reputation.
