The Great Elephant Migration & Public Garden Early AM
Details
A new installation of a herd of 100 life size elephant sculptures is opening on the Commonwealth Ave. mall this Saturday. It's a really interesting project from India on a world tour and should be a lot of fun to shoot. More here:

Since it starts at Arlington St. I thought we could spend sunrise or thereabouts in the Public Garden when we'll have the park (and the elephants) mostly to ourselves. Rain day on Sunday if necessary.
GEAR: just about anything lens wise will work beautifully for this event and I can imagine getting great compositions with everything from wide angles to zooms.
PARKING: there should be plenty of on street metered parking at that time of the morning or you can park at the very expensive city lot under the Boston Common.
