FEATURED TALK: Is your organization mature enough for containerization?
FEATURED SPEAKER: James Pansarasa, Chief Architect, MILL5
TWITTERS: @Mill5James and @atmill5
Containers are not tiny virtual machines, and moving your application from a traditional n-tier architecture to a containerized set of micro-services hosted in an orchestration framework like Kubernetes takes planning.
This talk will compare and contrast containers versus VMs in Azure. It will highlight how to design, build and deploy to Azure cloud using the breadth of services available to us (Azure Dev Ops, Azure Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Service).
It will give some insight into what it takes to migrate your existing application and why you would expend the effort.
OPENING TALK: Running Azure Networks Securely - a couple of tips SPEAKER: Bill Wilder @codingoutloud
