Italian Opera Concert @ Old North Church

Remember our lovely meetups at the Longwood Opera in Needham? Well, some of the singers will be performing arias and opera scenes and I hope the opera fans in the group can join me in supporting these fine young artists!

Italian Arias and Opera Scenes from La Boheme, Tosca, Elisir d’Amore, La Cenerentola, Rigoletto, Clemenza di Tito, Le Nozze di Figaro and more. Performed by Professional Boston Opera Singers. Featured soloists include sopranos Sherri Snow and Abby Krawson, mezzo-sopranos Rebecca Rapoport-Cole and Alexandra Dietrich, tenors Fred Van Ness, Jr. and Marquis Fuir, and bass-baritone Dan Cyr. Pianist - Aaron Franklin.

The concert is FREE, but the suggested DONATION is $15.

Proceeds of the event with go towards the North End Music & Performing Arts Center Scholarship Fund, providing low-income familes with affordable Music Education, and also to Music Programming.

Parking will be problematic in the North End on Friday night, so I suggest taking the T to the North Station/Haymarket/Aquarium.

2.15 UPDATE: There is a wine reception following the concert and I suggest we try and meet there. Please, update your RSVP if you are interested in going to a bar / restaurant after the concert and the reception. I will not be able to stay for too long afterwards, but I hope Mike or someone else can host the after-party!

The post-concert gathering will be at The Living Room bar: http://thelivingroomboston.com/

101 Atlantic Ave, Boston, MA 02110

Right by the Columbus Park:
