NEC performance of Offenbach's La Périchole w/ a BCM group member in the cast!

This Sunday at 3pm, tenor Joshua Collier will be singing in NEC's performance of Jacques Offenbach's opera, La Perichole. The group has been lucky enough to hear Josh sing impromptu (with Jill Borenstein's beautiful accompaniment on the piano) at two of Todd's amazing Providence meetups, but we haven't yet heard him in one of his official concerts as a group. I know this is late notice, but Josh is a fantastic talent (as well as a very nice guy!), so I'd love to get a good showing for him.

...cmon!! :) unrehearsed and with my awful iphone camera work, that is still an extremely affecting performance! It was one of many truly special moments at that meetup, and I know everyone who was there will be eager to hear him sing again.
We are still working out details, but Josh has invited us to hang out there for a bit after the performance. I'd also like to grab a bite and/or drink afterwards, so check back for more on that if you are interested.

After the performance: I will briefly hover around the gap between the orchestra seats towards the back, elegantly displayed below.

Here is the description from that page:
Jacques Offenbach's La Perichole concerns two impoverished Peruvian street-singers, too poor to afford a marriage license, and a lecherous viceroy, who wishes to make the street singer, La Perichole his mistress. Set in hot, hot 1950‘s Lima, with music that’s diverse and delightful, Offenbach's opera bouffe is the opera equivalent of musical comedy.
The fully staged opera, performed in French with spoken text in English is conducted by Joel Revzen and directed by Joshua Major. The cast and orchestra are composed of NEC students.
Additional performances on Saturday February 11, Monday February 13, and Tuesday February 14. (note - Josh Collier will be performing on Sunday the 12th and Tuesday the 14th, so if you are only interested in the concert but not the meetup, I hope you'll still choose one of those dates to support him!)
