The New Philharmonia Orchestra, in collaboration with the New World Chorale, has a terrific looking Brahms concert (details below) coming up and Kara Robbins of the NPO has offered the group 50% off! The NPO was part of our very first meetup (as well as several since) and they have consistently delivered wonderful and enthusiastic performances. They have also provided us with reserved seats in previous concerts (hoping that will be possible again this time, too! stay tuned.) and it is always a blast when we're able to sit together. :) Let's get another big showing for them!

update: we have reserved seats! you can get them by calling the box office (617.527.9717) and telling them you're with BCM. if you already have a ticket and you'd like to join us, just ignore your seat and sit in the reserved BCM section on the violin side about halfway back. thanks, Kara!

There will be two performances and the discount can be applied to either one, but the official meetup will take place on Saturday May 19th at 8pm. Tickets can be purchased at http://newphil.org and you must enter the code "BCM" (no quotes) to get the 50% off discount. If anyone is interested in running a meetup for the Sunday concert, feel free to suggest it to the group and I'll make it official.

The NPO also participates in the "Culture N' Cuisine" program, so we'll get a 10% discount on the food at our post-concert meetup location, Deluxe Station Diner on 70 Union Street! Just remember to bring your ticket stub. The Diner is also where some of the performers go after concerts, so we'll have a chance to mingle. :)

I will be in Chicago until May 13 and likely won't have much opportunity to respond to any questions here until Monday, but this should cover most everything. However, please check back later next week in case some details have changed.

Big thanks to Kara and the NPO for another great offer!!
