EVENT INFO/DESCRIPTION (As copied from the ride/race/event description):
The Blazing Saddles Century ride is one of the most picturesque and festive cycling events of the season. We are excited to announce that a new mixed terrain route will also be offered this year! Meandering through historic towns of Boston’s North Shore and southern New Hampshire, routes range from 36 to 100 miles and offer scenes of the area’s farms, marshes, beaches and waterways, as well as notable New England architecture and landmarks. Cool ocean breezes, rolling hills, and tree-covered woodlands make for a pleasant and enjoyable day.
The event is supported by four convenient and well-stocked rest stops, all of which offer cold beverages and a variety of snacks and treats. SAG support and mechanics are available along the routes for minor repairs and adjustments. The festive post-ride lunch offers a satisfying array of wraps, hot dogs, crudite, chips, cookies, and cold beverages.
As part of the North Shore Cyclists’ commitment to supporting cycling-related charitable initiatives, fifty percent of the 2025 Blazing Saddles Century net income will be donated to Coastal Trails Coalition, East Coast Greenway, MassBike, and Topsfield Rail Trail.
Routes for 2025 Blazing Saddles Century event will be made available to registered riders prior to the event.
