The Boston Digital Experience Platforms and Technologies (DXPT) user group is the next evolution of the WCMS group. In this new evolution, Boston DXPT will still discuss WCMS, but also other aspects of an organization's digital footprint. We will expand from WCMS to digital experience platforms, marketing technologies and strategies, personalization, predictive analytics, segmentation, and much more. We will look to accomplish this through sharing highlights, trends, methodologies, strategies on implementation, what's working and what's not, use cases, case studies, walkthroughs, and more!
In this session, we will go through different ways to work with Adobe Target (AT v2.x)
- Client-side personalization using VEC (Visual Experience Composure)
- Server-side personalization using the Form-Based Composure and using Target’s Java SDK to retrieve the offers.
- Hybrid personalization where the offers are retrieved on the server-side and are served on the client-side without having to make additional calls to Target. We will also cover some of the gotchas.
