6:30 - 7:20: Three presentations:
(1) Raman Sharma VP at Zivid: Learn about how Zivid camera technology gives ultra high quality vision to robots utilizing structured light principles. Define 3D image quality and learn how to use exposure to acquire an optimal, high quality 3D point cloud.
(2) Ilias Levis CEO at Ikona: Utilize 3D point clouds to construct image analysis routines to define a region of interest, remove planes and segment by color.
(3) Tristan Swedish Ph.D student at the MIT Media Lab in the Camera Culture Group: "Cameras that can see around corners: for robotics and beyond".

Location/Parking: the Microsoft NERD center is a short walk from the Kendall Sq.
T stop, located adjacent to the Charles River. There's usually street-parking to be found on side streets (such as Ames St.). There's also a garage in the NERD center, $12 flat fee after 4pm. Just remember to bring your ID to get into the NERD center.
