Boston Rust Meetup at Kensho, June 28

Details
We're back once again for an evening of Rust-related revelry!
Join us on Wednesday, June 28 at Kensho's offices in Harvard Square. You can enter via the front staircase under the Kensho sign visible from the street; an elevator exists as well.
Doors open at 5:30 for carousing and food; talks to begin at 6:30; free time to mingle and share from 7:30 to 8:30.
Our two speakers this time:
Gürer Özen will be speaking about the use of Rust at Kensho, ranging from improving the size and speed of containerized images to combining Rust and Python via PyO3, as well as the use of Rust-based tools like the Ruff Python linter.
Jon Soo will be presenting his Rust-based autopilot for controlling a single-handed offshore racing sailboat, including a demonstration of its user interface built atop Raph Levien's Vello rendering engine.
(NOTE: A previous version of our speaker lineup included Predrag Gruevski speaking about cargo-semver-checks, a tool for automatically detecting semver-incompatible API changes in Rust crates. However, due to a scheduling conflict, this talk has been rescheduled for our next meetup. Keep an eye on this space for the next event announcement!)
Looking forward to seeing you! 🦀
