Join us for an evening of Rust-related revelry, food, and interesting talks, hosted by Red Hat!

WHEN: Tuesday, August 4.

WHERE: Red Hat's offices at 300 A Street, Boston, convenient to South Station. Enter the lobby and take the elevator past the front desk to the second floor. The door to the space will be on your right.

SCHEDULE: Doors open at 5:30 for carousing and food; talks to begin at 6:30; free time to mingle and share from 7:30 to 8:30.

Our speakers:

Tyler Bloom will be speaking on how (not) to write an emulator for video game consoles.

James Logan will be speaking on using Rust as a productivity tool to eliminate firmware debugging and spend more time with the hardware.

John Baublitz will be speaking on stratisd, a storage management tool for Linux to easily configure pools and filesystems with enhanced storage functionality.
