Winding River Campground gives you the opportunity to experience camping in different ways. There’s tent sites and RV pop up sites with E/W/S and cabins with full kitchen, bathroom, heat, AC, wifi.

Reserve your tent/RV sites, cabins asap directly from the Winding River Campground website, as they will go fast. Try to get your site near my cabin, cabin C1. My cabin deck will be our main meeting area. Book your sites for one, two or three nights. The cabins sleep six and average $110 a person for three nights. Those getting a cabin can coordinate sharing the cost.

There’s a lot to do at the campground…. Kayaking, swimming pool with water slide, hot tub, basketball court, horse shoes, general store, fishing area, gem mining sluice, campfire. This weekend the campground is having a flag football game we can watch or participate in. So bring your boat, fishing gear, camping gear and positive thoughts for fantastic weather. When it gets closer the group can decide on potluck details for Friday and Saturday nights. Also we can go to Portsmouth for the day on Friday to check out the breweries. Plus, the campground has bingo and an outdoor movie on Friday night and a band at the covered pavilion for dancing on Saturday night. The flag football game is Saturday afternoon.

Note: As you reserve sites, comment the site number so people can share sites and lower the cost and be near each other.
