Our first Startup Marketing Labs event will have experts on hand from different areas of startup marketing, including branding, PR, inbound marketing, automation, and other interesting topics. Together, we'll explore our marketing challenges and exchange advice on how others have tackled them successfully.

Public Relations Experts:

Corinne Federici, Vice President at Corporate Ink - Trained in a hard-nosed newsroom, Corinne’s passionate about telling great stories that get prospects to buy, influencers to endorse and reporters to write. The key: make it urgent, compelling, visceral and personal. With more than a dozen years of experience creating new markets and market leaders, Corinne directs integrated marketing and PR strategy for many of Corporate Ink’s B2B clients.

Lisa Mokaba, Director of Media Relations at InkHouse Media + Marketing - Lisa is a director of media relations at InkHouse, focused on developing key reporter and influencer relationships on behalf of her clients, as well as developing creative pitch ideas and topics. Lisa has secured coverage for her clients in top business publications including TIME, USA Today and The New York Times. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from The Carroll School of Management, Boston College.

Casey Cardinal, Senior Account Executive at InkHouse Media + Marketing - Casey is responsible for driving media relations and thought leadership programs on behalf of her clients, providing guidance on company messaging and strategy and managing speaking and award programs. Casey holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire with a concentration in marketing.

Katie Ledoux, Associate Account Executive at InkHouse Media + Marketing - Katie manages a number of social media accounts on behalf of her clients and has extensive experience in social strategy, content creation, conversation monitoring, engagement and measurement. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in Communication and Public Relations from Villanova University.

Events Experts:

Paul Hlatky - Paul is Executive Director of Greenhorn Connect, Boston's most comprehensive resource for entrepreneurs and a Sales Consultant at Yesware. He has planned conferences and career fairs locally with hundreds of attendees primarily focused on student engagement.

Ann Sharon, Director of Business Operations at CloudLock - CloudLock is the cloud information security company focused on public cloud offerings. Ann runs the Go-To-Market operations and is responsible for leading and managing various programs. She researches, qualifies, and plans over 20 events per year.

Branding Expert:

Amy Groden-Morrison - Amy has served more than 15 years in marketing communications leadership roles at companies such as TIBCO Software, RSA Security, Ziff-Davis and Alkermes. Her branding experience includes establishing the first co-branded technology program with CNN, launching an events company on the NYSE, rebranding a NASDAQ company amid a crisis, and positioning a Boston-area startup for successful acquisition. She holds an MBA from Northeastern University.

Inbound Marketing Expert:

Anum Hussain, Inbound Content Strategist at Hubspot - Anum builds content-based campaigns to help drive leads and revenue for HubSpot. She previously managed the social media team, which has helped her produce endless content around social media announcements and product launches. Anum was chosen for the 2013 MITX Future Leaders Group, and has been recognized by B2B Marketing Magazine as one of 2013's rising marketing stars.

Getting to Microsoft NERD by T:

  1. On the T, take the Red Line to the Kendall/MIT stop.

  2. Walk straight up Main Street toward the Longfellow Bridge(past the Post Office, Bank of America).

  3. You will see the Parking Garage on your right, take a right and you can enter the building from the side.

  4. Approximately a 5 minute walk.
