Boston Common Tree Lighting + Chinatown Dinner
Details
Join us for the 84th Annual Boston Common Tree Lighting — one of the city’s most iconic winter traditions.
We’ll meet at 6:00 PM by The Embrace statue, just off Tremont Street in Boston Common. The festivities begin at 6:00 PM with live entertainment, giveaways, and holiday cheer. The actual tree lighting happens just before 8:00 PM when Mayor Wu joins Santa and Rudolph on stage.
After the lighting, we’ll head to Chinatown for dinner for anyone who wants to join. This will be a fun, relaxed night to enjoy the lights, connect with others, and celebrate the start of the holiday season.
If you have festive clothes or accessories, bring them — especially ones that light up.
