IN PERSON rooftop tasting: Ridge Zinfandels

Ridge Vineyards is one of California's most prominent vineyards, producing Zinfandel-heavy blends in a food-friendly, European style. We'll gather to taste four Zinfandel wines from different areas.

This tasting will be on the roof, weather permitting. If not, Michael will host in his unit. We have two bottles of each of the following:

73% Zinfandel, 16% Petite Sirah, 9% Carignane, 2% Mataro
Dry Creek Valley

East Bench
100% Zinfandel
Dry Creek Valley

Geyserville
71% Zinfandel, 19% Carignane, 7% Petite Sirah, 3% Alicante Bouschet
Alexander Valley

Pagani Ranch
84% Zinfandel, 9% Alicante Bouschet, 7% Petite Sirah
Sonoma Valley

COST
$25 in advance to cover wine. You must pay upon RSVP via Paypal. All proceeds go toward wine purchase.

POLICIES

NOTE REFUND POLICY FOR THIS EVENT. Michael will offer a full refund up to 24-hours prior to the event, if someone can be found to take the spot. No refunds after RSVPs close. Attendance is limited to 12 people (plus hosts), so please don't RSVP unless you know that you can attend.

WHAT TO BRING

Michael will supply the wines, so all you need to bring is a food pairing to go with and a wine glass! We will add food suggestions later.

Remember to bring at least one wine glass; ideally two to compare wines.

WHERE

Michael's apt in the South End of Boston, a short walk from the Orange and Green lines. Detailed address and directions will be sent out to attendees the morning of the event.

T: Green line, Symphony (6 minute walk)

Parking: There are sometimes spots available on Michael's street (no restrictions on Sundays), and there is also a $20 lot next door.
