Zcash Workshop: Crosslink, Zashi, Zcash.me!

Join us for our next Boston Zcash workshop event, where @shieldedmark of Shielded Labs presents Crosslink!

​Come hungry for a lunch during the workshop and talks at The Pilot House. ​Afterwards, we'll head towards Mark's nearby gallery in Gloucester (which accepts Zcash!) for drinks and art. 👨‍🎨

​Crosslink is a proposed evolution to Zcash's consensus mechanism, which adds a PoS finality layer alongside its PoW layer. As a hybrid system, it allows for both mining and staking, improving the security of Zcash while providing a new way for users to participate and earn staking rewards in ZEC.

​Mark will dive into the mechanics and benefits of Crosslink, helping us to wrap our heads around what the future of Zcash may look like.

We'll also be joined virtually by the creator of Zcash.me for a presentation on his Zcash user directory, 'More Than Money: Past, Present, Future'.

​And the community manager for Zashi will lead a brief session, demonstrating the advantages of the wallet's DEX integrations, highlighting the roadmap ahead, and gathering your feedback on the Zashi experience.
