**Topic: Key 1, The Magician. The Intelligence of Transparency.**
This month we are focusing on the beginning of the Tarot tableau used in the B.O.T.A. system of instruction. Focus, attention, beginning, technique, concentration, and other similar concepts are hallmarks of the message Key 1, The Magician, has for us. This first Key in the series leads us to consider the origin of the power we employ in every single action, word, and thought, in every instant of our lives. This will no doubt lead to some very stimulating discussion.

As usual, we will begin with a reading on Key 1 from Jason Lotterhand’s book The Thursday Night Tarot. This will be followed by a thoughtful and fascinating group discussion of our impressions and thoughts on The Magician, and how what was discussed in the reading shows up in our daily lives. We will close with a recorded meditation on the Hebrew letter Beth from The Book of Tokens, read by Ann Davies.
