Wicked Plants of Balboa Park

Plants that must live their lives rooted in a single spot for their lifetimes, some of which may be hundreds of years, necessitate a broad range of defensive weapons to survive being attacked by a host of other life forms. The defenses plants use can be toxic or dangerous to humans and other life forms. Conversely, these plants have also been the basis of 70-80 percent of health aiding pharmaceuticals. Balboa Park plants have many examples of plants to treat with caution.
