Painting The Fool

This month we will kick off our Tarot Key painting series. And what better Key than The Fool to help us start a new journey?
During this series, we will pay special attention to all the visual elements of our Tarot Keys as we engage in the creative act of bringing them to life with color!

For this activity, we will be following the coloring sequence and instructions provided by B.O.T.A. in the "Highlights of Tarot" booklet, which mirrors the instructions in the Tarot Fundamentals lesson series.
No prior experience or skill with painting is required!
We will briefly cover some basic painting techniques and have a chance to practice on scrap paper before beginning on the Key.

How it will work:
- One large black and white printout of the Tarot Key will be shared among the whole group.
- Attendees will take turns adding a few strokes of paint, making sure each attendee has a chance to leave their energetic and creative impression on the evolving work of the group.

While the Key is being painted, the group will enjoy a stimulating discussion focusing on the symbols, colors, and other visual elements present in the Key, and what kind of impression it makes on us. Attendees are encouraged to note if the impression of the black and white Key is different than a fully colored version.

Materials will be provided.
There is no cost to attend and participate. Voluntary donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated.

For those who are able, please feel free to bring snacks you would like to share with the group. Please be mindful of food allergies and consider bringing options which are gluten free and dairy free to ensure there is something for everyone.
