Note: Our Tarot Key painting series will resume at our September Open Forum meeting. At that time, we will begin painting Tarot Key 1, The Magician.

Topic: The Empress’ Garden: Universal Subconsciousness and Creative Imagination
Back in June, we took a close look at some of the symbolism in Key 1, The Magician, and explored various ways of approaching our faculty of attention and self-conscious awareness. This month, we take the next step in that exploration and consider our powers of creativity and imagination as they are represented by the symbolism in Key 3, the Empress.

Together, we will read the article “Creative Imagination: A Summary of an Important Instruction” by Paul Foster Case. After some time for reflection, we will enjoy a thoughtful group discussion about the insights and questions that may come up for us as we think about this topic and look at the relevant Tarot Keys. We will then close with a reading of the meditation on the Hebrew letter Daleth from The Book of Tokens.

There is no cost to attend and participate. Voluntary donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated.

For those who are able, please feel free to bring snacks you would like to share with the group. Please be mindful of food allergies and consider bringing options which are gluten free and dairy free to ensure there is something for everyone.
