Walden Ponds and Avery Brewing

Happy end-of-summer everyone,
We will visit one of Boulder County's favorites: Walden Ponds, and Dave Sutherland will lead us. He's an award-winning naturalist and formerly with Boulder OSMP.

At Walden we should see species of waterfowl, raptors, woodpeckers, icterids, sparrows, and others in the varied habitats. We will have loaner binoculars if you don't have your own.

After birding for a couple of hours, we'll head to Avery Brewing for some socializing and snacks provided by Boulder County Audubon Society. Plan to purchase your own drinks.

IMPORTANT!! As always, PLEASE only sign up for this meetup if you're certain you can attend. If at any time after you sign up, you decide you can't attend, please cancel your RSVP so that others on the waitlist will have a chance to join us. Likewise, if you're on the waitlist but then can't attend, please cancel your waitlist RSVP. ANY cancellation should happen by Friday, Sept. 26, no later than 4:00pm.

Walden Ponds is on 75th St. between Valmont Rd. and Jay Rd. At the sign, turn west and drive to the Cottonwood Marsh parking lot. Avery is at 4910 Nautilus Court.
