Compiling Haskell to Whatever you Want

Details
Greg Pfeil will explain how to use the Categorifier plugin to compile your Haskell code to whatever you want – circuits, Python, diagrams, partial derivatives, etc. Compiling to Categories is an approach for defining lightweight compiler backends via fairly simple type class instances. We’ll see a couple examples of existing compiler targets and learn how to write our own.
All are welcome. We abide by the Contributor Covenant.
There will be non-alcoholic beverages (courtesy H&H) and pizza, as well as time to socialize and discuss the Haskell & FP world in general.
If you have any projects or topics you’d like to share at a future event, please message the organizers. Introductory-level talks are particularly encouraged.
