Erlang-style Distributed Systems using Cloud Haskell

Every month we meet to hang out and talk functional programming.

This month’s speaker is Nic Flores.

In a previous presentation we discussed building web applications using
Scotty and an AWS SDK. In this talk we'll replace the previous HTTP-based financial data downloader with a distributed system using distributed-process, an implementation of Cloud Haskell with Erlang-style concurrency and distribution. We'll talk through building master and worker processes, message management, and state handling.
