The Ride

  • Horsetooth Mountain Open Space: This weekend ride will be an upper intermediate ride on loose and rocky trails. The majority of the climbs are on steep fire roads but the views are great. Aerobic Difficulty: 7/10; Technical Difficulty: 6/10
  • ~12 miles with 2,700 ft of climbing, similar to this ride
  • ⚡ e-Bikes are NOT permitted on this ride
  • Limited to 11 participants per Larimer County regulations

Trails and Ales:

  • Coed intermediate/advanced ride exploring trails across the Front Range, come explore, meet other riders and stick around for the post ride hang!
  • We may split into 2 smaller groups according to desired pace
  • No drop ride – we stop at all intersections and wait for all!

Housekeeping:

  • Please sign up on Meetup. By signing up for this ride, you agree to our Waiver.
  • Meetup page will be updated with weather conditions - please check prior to the ride for the most up to date information! Event will be cancelled if there is inclement weather. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for a timely departure! Please arrive at 8:45, ride will roll out at 9:00
  • All riders MUST wear a helmet and close-toe shoes, bring water and food, and have a trail-ready bike.
  • Riders should carry basic tools: a spare tube, pump, tire lever, chain tool and Allen wrenches.
  • All riders ride at their own risk, group leaders take no responsibility for rider safety/injury.
