Coon Hill

Details
All are welcome. This is a great place to learn if you are new to the sport. Avi-gear is required (beacon, shovel, probe). No one skis alone. We will stay on the 30 degree or lower areas and not venture in to the higher avalanche prone spots above. There should be great snow this weekend!
I strongly suggest that you arrive by 7a. Any later, and you are likely to get backed up in traffic. Beacon check and chat at 7:15, skinning at 7:30.
Please bring a radio if you have one (not required). We will set it to Channel 6 and Interference Eliminator Code 7. There is good cell service at Coon Hill.
We will meet afterward in Idaho Springs at Main Street Restaurant for brunch. Either sit down or order burritos to go.
Parking is in the lot immediately on your right as you pass through Eisenhower tunnel going west.
