For Saturday’s run we will be doing a flat route (for real). We don't do many flat routes and I'm feeling like a reset is in order, so let's get together for a good social run.

If anyone would like to join and hike, add a comment below to see if you can get a hiking group pulled together as well.

**ROUTE**
We'll meet east of Boulder at Teller Farms and start the run from the South trailhead off Arapahoe at 8:00a. The route is mostly a 12 mile out/back with only 700 ft of gain, but does have a small lollipop loop at the top. Plan for under 3 hours.

**TRAILHEAD**
The entrance to the trailhead is located exactly 1 mile east of 75th & Arapahoe or 1.5 miles west of 95th & Arapahoe. The entrance is a .5 mile dirt road and dead ends at the trailhead. There are toilet facilities at the trailhead.

**CONSIDERATIONS**
Unfortunately the route is only half dog friendly, so if you bring your dog you can get about 5-6 miles (unless you double-up a bit). Dogs must be leashed. The trail north of Valmont does not allow dogs. For those familiar with the trail, we'll run to the water tower, do the loop around the field, and then back.

The trailhead is a good size, but it wouldn't hurt to arrive a little early to get there before the 8 am crowd. Also, there is no carpool option; however, if you need a ride, add a comment below with where you need to be picked up from and perhaps someone can swing by and pick you up.
