Run Lumpy Ridge
Details
For Saturday we are heading to Estes Park to run the Lumpy Ridge loop.
ROUTE
This is a 13-mile route with about 3k ft. of gain. There's an option to cut off about 2 miles by skipping the waterfall, but otherwise it's a loop. It should take us about 4 hours. With the limited snow this year, this is an early chance to get into higher country and start that altitude training - come on out and stretch those lungs!
CARPOOL / DIRECTIONS
- 6:45am at North Foothills Trailhead – At the intersection of Broadway and Hwy 36, head north on 36 a few hundred feet. Turn right onto the dirt road. Trailhead is a little ways down on your left.
- 7:10am at Moxie Bread Co in Lyons - 442 High St. at the corner of US 36 & High St
We will plan to start the run from the Lumpy Ridge trailhead around 7:45a - 8:00a.
