WRITERS AND FILMMAKERS
Want to gather to discuss writing and producing short films with a steady group of writers and filmmakers (that's you!) to screen locally (and maybe not so locally)? Join other filmmakers to get inspired and collaborate to write and create short films. Even web TV series.
We will meet and make time to brainstorm scripts and get film shoots scheduled. And then we'll look for places to watch the films in public venues. There is a space in Longmont that screens shorts every other month.
This isn't a workshop group or necessarily a group where everyone works on everyone's project, but more of a place for filmmakers and actors and crew to connect to others who match your vision, and to find people who you can collaborate with to create great films.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
How about creating photographs and screening them in public slide shows using real slide film as well as digital media?
I am both a filmmaker and photographer and I want to create work with creatives in both arts to screen locally. We could even screen the photography shows with the films screenings.
