Talk 1: Hacking Stacks by Tim Kleier from ASRC Federal

Description: Do you remember the immense challenge of learning to code? Feel inept after learning one language or framework only to have no clue what you're doing in a new one? Committing to continual learning in jumping from stack to stack is not for the faint of heart, but the risk does come with a reward.

In our time together talking about Hacking Stacks, Tim will briefly share his journey beginning in Ruby on Rails development and leading through mobile app development and across various web stacks. We'll explore some common tech stacks and their similarities and differences, and get a sense for their usefulness in solving various software problems. Together, we'll discover and discuss insights from working in various tech stacks.

Bio: Tim is a systems architect at ASRC Federal in Fort Collins, a company that manages software applications for the USDA's conservation service. He works with code and coders during the day, and at night you'll find him hanging with his wife and four kids, running or biking, or entrepreneuring.
