Emmaline Lake (Comanche Peak Wilderness) *DAY HIKE*

For a change of pace, let's hike to a beautiful lake in an infrequently-visited corner of northern Colorado. Starting from the trailhead, we'll hike for about 6 miles through burned out forest to a gorgeous lake. Likely, we'll be the only visitors there.

The hike will end up being roughly 12 miles RT with 2200' of gain.

Bring your usual summer hiking gear, food and drink.

We will meet at the park n ride in Niwot at around 6am to coordinate carpool. If FoCo-based folks have another park n ride in mind closer, let me know and we can meet in FoCo instead.
