Devils Thumb Pass on Monday

17 miles from Hessie Trailhead up to Jasper Lake, Devils Thumb Lake, up Devils Thumb Pass to the Divide, then down by Bob and Betty Lakes. About 4,000' elevation gain.

Bring microspikes and trekking poles as there will be snow. I'm bringing an ice ax as there will be steep snow for practicing self-arrest but the steep snow can be avoided.

We can carpool from Boulder.

Bring a walkie-talkie if you have one. I use channel 1.
